About madds

I design experiences that live in the body — spaces and moments that people don’t just see, but feel.

My work sits at the intersection of spatial design, atmosphere, and execution, shaped by a background in architecture and years of hands-on experience producing live events and immersive environments.

I’m drawn to projects that ask how people move through space, how energy shifts in a room, and how design can guide emotion as much as behavior.

background

I began my career in architecture, working on retail and entertainment projects where concept, brand identity, and physical space converge. Over time, I became increasingly interested in the moments between the drawings — how environments are activated, how people gather, and how design comes alive through use.

That curiosity pulled me toward live events and experience-driven work, where ideas are tested in real time and success is measured not just by aesthetics, but by how people engage, respond, and connect.

Today, my practice brings these worlds together. I approach every project with an architect’s rigor, an experiential designer’s sensitivity, and a producer’s respect for logistics, timelines, and collaboration.

How I work

I work best in close partnership with creative teams, producers, and stakeholders who value both vision and follow-through.

I’m comfortable leading early concept development, shaping narrative and atmosphere, and staying involved through production to ensure ideas are realized with care and clarity.

Whether working within an agency, in-house team, or collaborative studio environment, I bring a calm, intentional presence and a deep respect for the complexity of live work.

x. gratia

ex gratia [eks grey-shee-uh]

Latin, meaning “out of goodwill” adjective or adverb to describe something given or done as a favor or from a sense of moral obligation, rather than because of legal requirement.

x.gratia is a mindset — it means putting people first, viewing business partnerships as real relationships built to support our common goals. It means doing work we are genuinely excited by! It means that in everything I do, I am committed to working with people, communities, companies, and brands that I genuinely support, resonate with, and align on these values with. These kinds of collaborations are when the best work comes out of us.

Lets do our best work together.
